Vision


To provide an integrated psychological and educational counseling system that supports students' success and their psychological and academic balance, and enhances their ability to adapt, make decisions, and build their future.


Objectives


1.    Supporting the mental health and psychological and social balance of students and enhancing their ability to adapt to university life.
2.    Improving academic success and reducing academic stumbling and dropout rates through early counseling and follow-up.
3.    Providing academic, educational, and vocational counseling and assisting students in making appropriate decisions.
4.    Promoting prevention and psychological and educational awareness, and building a supportive university environment.
5.    Developing a system for early detection, referral, and follow-up for cases requiring specialized support.


Main Tasks


•    Providing psychological, educational, academic, and vocational counseling services to students.
•    Monitoring and following up on cases of academic stumbling and academic, social, and psychological problems in accordance with approved procedures.
•    Implementing awareness and prevention programs related to mental health, university adaptation, and life skills.
•    Providing individual and group counseling and referring cases that require specialized services to the appropriate entities.
•    Cooperating with colleges and departments in following up on struggling students and supporting their academic success.
•    Conducting studies and surveys regarding students' needs and their level of satisfaction with counseling services.
•    Preparing databases, reports, and indicators while maintaining the confidentiality of information and the privacy of beneficiaries.
